Andalucian Rugs, we are
dedicated to supplying unique Spanish handmade rugs. These colourful rugs
are called Jarapas and have been made in Andalusia for over five centuries
-
a technique brought to Spain by the Moors. The Jarapa rugs are still being hand-woven on wooden looms
by local craftspeople
in Andalusia, following the same Arabic
tradition.

are all beautifully handmade from recycled cotton and cotton
chenille making each rug
individual and unique. These hand-woven rugs are machine washable on a delicate

These handmade rugs being unique, we take the
time to photograph each rug so that the actual rugs featured on
our website are the exact rugs you will receive. To do so, we are
dependant on the weather as we photograph all of our rugs outdoors
to ensure the best possible reproduction of the rugs' colours. So
